The Urgency Room Concept
The Urgency Room is owned and operated by EPPA, a group of emergency physicians who staff some of the busiest hospital emergency departments across Minnesota. These providers also serve our Urgency Rooms. We're able to provide high-quality care without the hassle and cost of an emergency department or hospital.
We understand people need varying levels of care and we are here to make sure you get the care you need.
- Scheduled Care: Most of the patients we see do not need immediate care but should be seen timely/same day. We offer same day appointments to evaluate and treat most conditions you would otherwise take to an urgent care or emergency department. Schedule Now.
- Walk-In Care: We accept walk-in care for patients in need of immediate medical attention. You do not need an appointment. Please present to our front desk immediately. You can call us ahead of time with any questions.
- Referral Care: If you were referred to The Urgency Room from another provider or medical facility you do not need an appointment. Let the front desk know who referred you to us when you arrive.
- Online Care: Minor concerns are perfect for online care. Our online care can even include testing. See one of our Urgency Room providers online, if they determine you need to be tested (strep/flu/COVID/UTI) they will send you to the Urgency Room of your choice for the test only. No need to see another provider, just test and go. We will let you know as soon as your results are ready. Start Online Visit.

Online care is available from 8am to 8pm daily, including holidays. For those minor concerns, skip the waiting room and conduct a convenient visit online. If you need testing or labs (strep, COVID, UTI) complete your visit online and come in for the test only. No waiting, we'll let you know as soon as your results are in.

We've got you covered for a variety of ailments, illnesses, and injuries. Schedule an appointment and skip the crowded waiting room. If your concern is emergent, please go directly to the front desk or dial 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.

- Early pregnancy (1–20 weeks) bleeding or spotting

- High fever in adults and children

- Nosebleeds
- Pneumonia
- Respiratory or breathing problems
- Serious cuts requiring stitches
- Urinary tract infections
On-Site Diagnostics:
The Urgency Room is not part of a hospital, but we're equipped with a full scope of medical diagnostics to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat you.

- High-complexity lab
- Sedation for adults and children
- Ultrasound
- X-ray
***Please note, we do NOT have an MRI at any of our Urgency Room locations. If you are experiencing stroke-like symptoms or transient ischemic concerns please visit the nearest emergency department.
