The Urgency Room Concept

We opened the first Urgency Room in Woodbury in 2010.  The Urgency Room is owned and operated by EPPA, a group of emergency physicians.  The physicians and advanced practice providers at EPPA staff some of the busiest hospital emergency departments across Minnesota while also serving our Urgency Rooms. We're able to provide high-quality care without the hassle and cost of an emergency department or hospital.  

The Urgency Room, located in Woodbury, Eagan and Vadnais Heights, provides both scheduled and online care at all three locations.  Our goal is to provide the highest level of care in a safe and convenient way.

Start an Online Visit:

Online care is available from 8am to 8pm daily, including holidays.  For those minor concerns, skip the waiting room and conduct a convenient visit online.  If you need testing or labs (strep, COVID, UTI) complete your visit online and come in for the test only.  No waiting, we'll let you know as soon as your results are in.

We've got you covered for a variety of ailments, illnesses, and injuries.  Schedule an appointment and skip the crowded waiting room.  If your concern is emergent, please go directly to the front desk or dial 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.

On-Site Diagnostics:

The Urgency Room is not part of a hospital, but we're equipped with a full scope of medical diagnostics to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat you.
