The Urgency Room Concept
The Urgency Room is owned and operated by EPPA, a group of emergency physicians who staff some of the busiest hospital emergency departments across Minnesota. These same providers also serve our Urgency Rooms. We’re able to provide high-quality care from emergency physicians and emergency-trained providers while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Expert Care, Your Way
We have locations in Woodbury, Eagan, Golden Valley, and Vadnais Heights, and our goal is to make it easy and convenient to get the care you need.
Online Care
We know not all patients require in-person care. We offer online care for minor concerns, including strep/sore throat, colds, coughs, sinus infections, and more. No appointment necessary.
Available at 8am, daily
Scheduled Care
Most of the patients we see do not need immediate care but should be seen timely/same day. We offer same day appointments to evaluate and treat most conditions you would otherwise take to an urgent care or emergency department.
Open 8am to 9pm, daily
Immediate Care
You don’t need an appointment for emergent concerns. Present immediately to the front desk. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please dial 911 or visit your closest emergency department.

On-Site Diagnostics
The Urgency Room is not part of a hospital, but we’re equipped with a full scope of medical diagnostics to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat you.

Ultrasound Notice:
Please note our Ultrasound is available at 9:30am at all sites, please refrain from scheduling an appointment before 9:30am if you suspect you may need an ultrasound.
Additional Notice:
We do NOT have an MRI machine at any of our Urgency Room locations. If you are experiencing stroke-like symptoms or transient ischemic concerns please visit the nearest emergency department.
